Description : God isn’t impressed with our abilities and doesn’t need the “best and the brightest” to achieve His purposes in the earth! In fact, He does His best work through “grace deposits” in earthen vessels – marred clay pots with issues and limitations. From II Corinthians 4:7-10 and Philippians 1:6; 2:12-13, Bishop McLaughlin delivered this powerful exhortation to those who have allowed past failures or a present weakness to hinder them from doing what God has called them to do. The enemy uses our own convictions to keep us bound. He points to our past to get us to shut up and keep us from realizing that all God simply wants us to “fess” up! But like David – a man after God’s own heart in spite of his many failures – we can do everything God called us to do even in the midst of family issues, limited natural resources and spiritual attacks. The key to victory lies in knowing that God is at work in us to will and to do of His good pleasure!!!
