Message Title: "Jesus Is The Friend Of Sinners"

Description : So many lost people can’t come to Jesus because of others in the church that judge or overlook them. This attitude reflects the heart of Pharisees – religious, pious people that are more concerned about their outward appearance but are rotten to the core! In this moving exhortation from Luke 7:36-50 and Matthew 11:19, Bishop McLaughlin reminded us that in spite of these critical hypocrites, Jesus is the friend of sinners. Everywhere He went Jesus drew crowds of sinners. When confronted by a group of Pharisees that questioned His association with a prostitute, He shared a parable of compassionate forgiveness that exposed their hypocrisy. Bishop admonished to be careful not to allow ourselves to become blind Pharisees and fall into a ditch. The focus of our fellowship, feasting and worship of Jesus is not to declare how much we know or judge and condemn others. Our role is to point them to Jesus, the Great Physician who alone can heal their sin-sick souls!!!
