Description : Too many people are trying to live the Christian life on their own. But we all need help! Our success and prosperity are simply based on our ability to ask for the help we need. From Matthew 20:29-34, Bishop McLaughlin reminded us that many people are barren today due to a lack of prayer – the ultimate act of humility. It is the Lord’s will to help us and bless us. His plan is precise and His timing is impeccable. If we can sense His presence when He stops by, we need to take advantage of it because something is going to change. Yet change takes courage. Sadly, many are content to remain in the valley of the familiar for fear of climbing the mountain of change. But like the blind men who cried out to Jesus, we must recognize that He is available to help us and not allow the consensus of unbelief to hold us back or hush us up. If we can tolerate our condition, we will never change. And we will not get to the mountain top of our experience staying in the valley of our tolerance!!!
