Description :People love making excuses! Many times our excuses result from feelings of inadequacy, lacking a particular skill needed to accomplish a particular task. But Bishop McLaughlin shared this challenging message from Exodus 4:1-14 to remind us that God specializes in taking nothing and “nobodies” and using them to accomplish His will. God selects those that are powerless to do powerful things. Yet some of us spend our lives wrestling over the things we can and cannot do. Like Moses, we fail to move when God says to move because of our self-imposed limitations. We don’t recognize that the key to doing what God has called us to do doesn’t depend on who we are, but on who He is. No longer can we allow gender, age, race, physical disability, social status or our own insecurities to prevent us from fulfilling His purposes. Through faith and obedience, we can respond to His call with no ifs, ands or buts!!!
