We learned that real prophets reveal truth that disarms the powerful and arms the powerless. Rather than resenting the messenger, we should examine ourselves and determine if we are an asset or a liability. The people in Haggai’s day said it wasn’t time to obey God and wanted to procrastinate. But God doesn’t procrastinate with our blessings. We should consider whether God is pleased with our worship, our commitment to ministry, our spiritual growth, our fellowship with each other or our giving. If we consider our ways and begin to put God’s work first, He will be with us and will prosper!!!
